Privacy policy

Last updated 1 September 2026.

NoticeCopilot is run as a sole trader business, and that sole trader is the data controller for the information described here. Write to [email protected] for their full details, to exercise any of the rights below, or with any question about this policy.

What we collect

There are no accounts, so we never ask for a password. We do not ask for your card details and never see them.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your information.

We use Google Analytics to see which pages and questionnaire steps people use and where they give up, so we can fix the confusing parts. It receives the page you are on, an approximate location derived from your IP address (which we ask Google to shorten before storing), and your device type. It never receives your questionnaire answers, your email address, or anything else you type into a form on this site. See Google's privacy policy for how Google itself handles that data.

Cookies

Two functional cookies, plus Google Analytics: a session cookie that carries your progress through the questionnaire, and nd_theme, which remembers whether you chose dark mode. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish visitors; see the analytics note above.

Who else processes your data

How long we keep it

Orders, questionnaire answers, and generated documents are deleted automatically 90 days after they are created, by a scheduled job. This is deletion, not archiving.

Waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to remove them. Server logs rotate on our host's schedule.

How it is protected

The site is served over HTTPS. Your document link contains a token that we store only as a hash, so a copy of our database cannot be used to fetch anyone's document. Access to the server is restricted to the operator.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it before the automatic deletion date. Email [email protected] from the address you used, and we will act within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Because there are no accounts, the email address you used at checkout is how we identify your records.

Children

This service is for adults dealing with agency notices. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
